Crisis Ministry is a major part of Trinity's outreach program, with parishioners volunteering their time and talents throughout the year. Working with low-income residents of Mercer County, Crisis Ministry seeks to alleviate the pain of hunger and homelessness by:
• supplying food to people who are hungry
• offering emergency financial assistance to those facing eviction or utility shut-off
• assisting with prescriptions and transportation
• providing emergency housing for families in need.
With offices in Princeton (Nassau Presbyterian Church) and Trenton (123 E. Hanover St.), Crisis Ministry provides a variety of volunteer opportunities:
• assist in the food store
• donate non-perishable food
• contribute money
• collect sales slips from McCaffrey’s
• assist clients directly
