Our next One Table Café dinner is being held on Friday, May 18th at 6:30 pm at Trinity Church.
Please join us for dinner and to hear an inspiring presentation by the Rev. Susan Victor, chaplain and Director of Counseling at Womanspace, Inc., the lead service provider for victims and survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Mercer County.
For 40 years, Womanspace has worked to prevent abuse, protect families, and change lives through empowerment and a safety net of supportive services.
Please see the flyer above for information.
Please RSVP no later than May 16th by calling 609-216-7770.
Sit, relax, and break bread with folks from your community. Conversation is encouraged! Our meals are offered as "donate what you can" on the third Friday of the month, ten months per year. All net proceeds this year will benefit the Trinity Church Hunger Fund whose beneficiaries are: Mercer Street Friends, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, Bread for the World and Episcopal Relief & Development.
One Table Café is a community supported restaurant where all are welcome regardless of race, gender, country of origin, religion, sexual orientation or ability to pay. Dinner is served by an all-volunteer staff and dress is casual. Children are welcome.
A delicious dinner will be provided by the 12 Farms Restaurant.
The Mission of One Table Café is to provide a nutritious meal and build community among individuals whose paths might not cross otherwise. Since 2011, individuals regardless of ability to pay, religion, ethnicity, marital status, gender or any other defining characteristic have enjoyed a meal and conversation at One Table Café. The pay what you can model generates donations that help to reduce hunger through our partner organizations Mercer Street Friends, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, Bread for the World, and Episcopal Relief & Development.
We look forward to welcoming you on the 18th!
