Christian Faith Formation

Christian Formation for All Ages

Trinity Church believes that each of us are on a spiritual journey, and that this journey never ends. Whether you are a lifelong Episcopalian, a new Christian, unsure of what you believe, or are hungry for a deeper faith experience, Trinity offers formation programs that are designed with you in mind. We have children and youth Sunday School classes, catechesis and confirmation classes, Bible study and prayer groups, adult forum discussions, and a variety of theological lecture series. Trinity's formation programs strive to create an environment where Christian faith can be learned and practiced with the heart and the mind.

Children and Youth

Designed for Kids

Trinity's children and youth programs provide Christian formation to children of all ages, with unique curricula designed for each age group. Children in our Sunday School learn Bible stories, core beliefs and values of Christian faith, liturgy and worship, and the Episcopal tradition. Youth group kids do fun activities together, service projects, and learn Christian faith with more complexity and depth. Trinity's confirmation classes are taught by a team comprised of both clergy and lay leaders, offering stimulating discussions about Christian faith and the confirmands' questions.

Adult Formation

Faith for the Whole Person

Trinity is committed to faith development for the whole person, and for all of life. The members of Trinity represent a wide diversity of walks of life, culture, family background, income, education, and knowledge of Christian faith. This diversity has enriched our community and deepened our fellowship. We are blessed to be situated between some of the world's finest academic and theological institutions, including the Center for Theological Inquiry and the Princeton Theological Seminary, and are blessed that some of the members of those institutions identify Trinity Church as their place of worship and faith community. Because of the rich resources we have in our clergy and our members, Trinity is able to offer excellent programming for adult faith formation. We have weekly forum discussions, seminars, classes, study and prayer groups, and ongoing intentional conversations about a variety of topics.
