Our mission is to transition homeless working families in the Princeton area to permanent housing and greater self-sufficiency.
We procure and coordinate the resources of:
- Our board members
- Generous volunteers
- Individual and business supporters in the community
- Our member congregations and partners
- Trinity Episcopal Church
- The Jewish Center of Princeton
- Nassau Presbyterian Church
- Princeton Friends Meeting
- Princeton United Methodist Church
- Unitarian Universalist Church of Princeton
- Mercer Alliance To End Homelessness
- HomeFront
We currently house and provide a variety of social services for two families in Prescott House located in Princeton Borough. A two family house rented from Trinity Church that has been lovingly renovated for transitional housing use. A family will stay for twelve to eighteen months while they receive the assistance they need to get back on their feet.
Our goals include:
Educating the community on the issues of homelessness
Advocating on behalf of the “working poor”
Acquiring additional housing units for client families
