Hunger Fund

Dedicated to providing money to alleviate hunger around the world, the Hunger Fund also educates the parish on hunger issues and encourages participation in hunger-related activities. On the first Sunday of each month, Hunger Fund envelopes are placed in Trinity’s pews to collect money for distribution to the Episcopal Relief and Development Fund, Bread for the World, and local programs such as the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen and Mercer Street Friends Food Bank.

Hunger haunts us both at home and abroad; fortunately through the generosity of Trinity parishioners we are able to provide assistance to agencies that give food directly to individuals and families without enough food and to agencies that are working to address the causes of global hunger and poverty.
