How Can I Become a Member?
If you have decided to become a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, we would be delighted to have you!
Baptism
If you would like to join the Episcopal Church, baptism is the first step. The Episcopal Church accepts the baptism of other denominations. If you have not been baptized and would like to do so in order to become a member of the Christian family, please contact one of our priests.
Confirmation
Confirmation is the sacrament in which a baptized teen or adult makes a commitment to follow Christ. If you have been baptized as a child, but would like to be confirmed as an adult in the Episcopal Church, please contact one of our priests. Youth confirmation preparation is incorporated into the Journey to Adulthood curriculum which is on a two-year cycle. Adult confirmation and preparation happens every year.
What does it mean to join Trinity?
At Trinity, we believe the real ministry of the church happens by its lay members. We ask our members to pray, to attend worship services regularly, to give, and to stay open to doing the work of ministry. That work may happen within Trinity's walls: teaching Sunday School, singing in the choir, working in outreach. That work may also happen in our every day life as you minister to your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers.
How do I transfer my membership from another church?
If you would like to transfer your membership from another church, please contact Parish Administrator Annie Thomas. Annie will ask you a few questions about yourself for our records, and will help you fill out the paperwork you need to give to your previous church. Annie can be reached at 609-924-2277 or at thomasa@trinityprinceton.org.
