Seminary Field Education Placements

Trinity Church is a home for students at Princeton Theological Seminary to explore their vocation as priests in the Episcopal Church while fulfilling their field education credit. 

Trinity has field education internships in pastoral care, outreach ministries, education and youth ministries.

Many of Trinity's field education interns go on to seek their degree in Anglican studies and go on to become priests in the church.

If you are interested in beginning the discernment process for ordination in the Episcopal church, know that is a lengthy process.  If you expect to begin your Anglican year of study immediately following graduation, you must begin the discernment process by the end of the first semester of your middler year.

If you are interested in doing your field education work at Trinity Church, fill out this form and return it to The Rev. Sarah Kinney Gaventa for field ed placement by February 10th. All candidates will be interviewed February 7th or 8th.  Decisions will be made by February 15th.
