Hymns: It is not necessary to have hymns at a wedding service, in fact it is more common not to have them and I generally advise against their use unless the couple are sure that the hymn(s) will actually be sung by the congregation. Hymns are restricted to those in the hymn book available at the church (the 1940 hymnal), unless the words are printed in the Order of Service. I suggest to couples that they borrow a copy of the hymnal and choose one or more which they feel is suitable. They should discuss with the officiating priest where the hymns should occur in the service. For your convenience, below are some suggestions.

SOME COMMONLY USED HYMNS (1982 Hymnal selections indicated with "+")
Morning has broken
Amazing grace
Joyful, joyful we adore thee
O perfect love (214+)
All things bright and beautiful (311+)
Now thank we all our God (276+)
Immortal, invisible, God only wise (301+)
Lord of all hopefulness (363+)
Love divine, all loves excelling (479+)
Praise my soul the king of heaven (282+)
