The music program and choirs are under the general direction of Tom Whittemore.

A native of Guilford, Connecticut, Tom began his music career as a treble chorister in the Choir of Men and Boys at Trinity Church-on-the-Green in New Haven. During that period he appeared as a soloist in numerous operas at Yale. He also toured with Leonard Bernstein as soloist in Bernstein’s Mass in Europe, which was recorded for the BBC.

Choral studies have been with Dr. Barry Rose at St. Alban’s Cathedral in England (1996).

A frequent guest clinician in choir training in Episcopal Dioceses around the country, Tom is also active as a guest conductor and vocal coach for numerous Royal Society of Choral Music (RSCM) summer training courses.
