PALM CROSS FOLDING
Step 1
To make the cross, hold the frond with the thicker end at the top. Measure from the top of your thumb to your wrist and bend the palm towards you.
Step 2
Using the tapered end about 1 inch from the top or half of your thumb make a right angle with the tapered end towards the right.
Step 3
1 inch from the cross you are going to bend the palm behind the middle part towards the left side.
Step 4
Now 1 inch from the left side, bend the palm towards the middle of the cross.
Step 5
You are going to make a right angle again and have the palm be pointing in between the top two right sections.
Step 6
Wrap the palm around the back and have it pointing between the bottom two left sections.
Step 7
Bend the palm across the bottom of the middle of the cross in front and then fold it around the back so it’s pointing between the top left sections.
Step 8
Finally, tuck the long strand behind the crossed over sections in the middle and pull tight.
Step 9
Turn it over and you have your palm cross.
