The Center of Theological Inquiry invites the Trinity community to join them for a special lecture by the Rev. Dr. Andrew Davison on Monday, March 10 at 5 PM. You may remember Dr. Davison from his time at CTI, when he led the Adult Forum and helped out at the parish on occasion.
Help Needed for Agape Meal!
Our wonderful Carol Brooks Thomas who normally runs the agape meal will be out of town and can't be the point person the day of, although she can get food and everything ready beforehand. The meal is simple, mostly fruit and cheese. It takes place directly after the Easter Vigil on April 19.
Volunteers are needed for set up and clean up, but right now the priority is finding someone to run the show day of.
Lenten Book Group: Passions of the Soul, by Rowan Williams
Are you hoping to deepen your faith this Lent? Do you want to learn about what classic theology has to do with modern life? During Lent, a book group led by Madeline Polhill, one of last year’s seminary interns, will study former Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams’ recent work, Passions of the Soul. In this short book, Williams explores Eastern Orthodox theology with a particular eye towards what this theology might have to do with the pressures, challenges, and worries of our lives in the 21st century. We will meet on Monday evenings, beginning March 17 and ending on April 14, at 5:30pm, now in the Trinity Church library and on Zoom. Questions? Email Madeline Polhill at madeline.polhill@ptsem.edu. This Sunday at 9:30: First Sunday Breakfast and Introducing the Society of Friends (Quakers)
In addition to our First Sunday Breakfast, we will have the opportunity to learn more about the Society of Friends, generally known as the Quakers, from Steven Davison. Steven has been a Friend for 37 years. He is the author of a Quaker blog, Through the Flaming Sword, and of a number of Quaker articles, book chapters, and a Pendle Hill Pamphlet (Quakerism's premier publication) on The Gathered Meeting. He has a book in development with another Quaker publisher on what Quakers believe.

Joint Choral Evensong with Trinity Church Princeton

This special festival service, led by the 50 voices of Brick’s Chancel Choir in collaboration with the choir of Trinity Church Princeton, will include extraordinary works from the grand tradition of the English cathedrals, as well as contemporary American music.
Evensong is a 45-minute service of music, readings from scripture, and ancient prayers, led by choir. Everyone is welcome to attend and discover this treasured form of Christian worship. A unique event in its bringing together of history, faith, music, and mindfulness, Evensong is part of a living tradition that is freely offered to all.

The history of Trinity Princeton has been documented in many books, but they end with the Rev. Leslie Smith! We need your help to fill in a Trinity Timeline from 2006 to 2025!
The Trinity Timeline will be on tables outside Pierce Hall. Our centered timeline, on a long sheet of paper, is marked off into chronological increments. Please add your personal Trinity events (e.g., Weddings, Baptisms, Confirmations, Funerals, and other personal memories) above the timeline and key Church events below the timeline. You may add anything you want!
The 2006-2025 Trinity Timeline will be outside Pierce Hall for a couple of weeks. Have fun!
