Welcome, Trinity Families!

Trinity seeks to be a vibrant place for families to cultivate their spiritual growth, where everyone is welcome to explore questions of life & faith. We aim in all of our Christian formation to foster faith for the whole person — supporting the minds, hearts, and bodies of everyone at every stage of life in every circumstance. There are many opportunities for children and youth of all ages to connect with God and with one another.

Children’s Chapel | 10:30am Service

Designed for children in PreK-2nd grades. Children gather in the nave with their families for the opening hymn and prayers. They are then invited to follow the cross upstairs for chapel during the readings and sermon. Children enjoy age-appropriate stories, liturgy, songs and prayers. They will return during the Passing of the Peace and for Communion.

Confirmation

In Confirmation, we make a mature commitment to Christ, and a commitment to live out our baptismal vows in the communion of the Episcopal Church (and Anglican Churches around the world). If you were baptized as an infant, confirmation offers you the opportunity to take on the vows that your parents made for them, for themselves. Confirmation is also a way that those who were baptized in other churches commit to the Anglican way of being Christian. Confirmation teaches us how to make our faith our own. The rite of Confirmation includes the affirmation of baptismal vows and the laying on of hands by a bishop. Confirmation class meets for 6 weeks on Sunday evenings beginning in January. Students in 10th grade and up gather for worship, a fellowship meal, and instruction in the faith. Confirmation by the Bishop is typically held in the spring following the preparation class.

StoryMakers is a not-for-profit creative studio that designs imaginative resources for kids of all ages. We spark curiosity, hope, and faith by drawing individuals into God's redemptive narrative in the stories of the Bible. We focus on facilitating the formation experience for churches and families as we seek to deepen the Christian faith of children and grown-ups alike.

We do this primarily through the tools we offer: zines, playbooks, guides, puppets, memory cards, and other visuals. Each adventure offers kids the opportunity to get creative, play, make social-emotional connections, and find themselves in the story of God’s love.

Sparkhouse offers groundbreaking Christian resources through imagination and collaboration, with curriculum developed from a collaborative community of Christian thought-leaders and practitioners from a variety of denominations.
